Towards the end of last year I offered a prize in an exclusive competition organised by eco website www.myzerowaste.com  Readers were asked to make a pledge to reduce their waste. Pledges were available for both the novice recycler and the more experienced recycler looking for even more ways to help the environment. Everyone who entered into the spirit of the site and committed to one of the many pledges was entered into an exciting competition to win one of the many 'eco prizes' offered by various companies. I offered my support by donating a fantastic pair of recycled slippers which were made to the lucky winner's specifications - here's the result...
